AFTER being off-air for some time, SABC1 celebrity gossip and entertainment show The Real Goboza is back for another season.

But this marks the final season of the show after the SABC decided to can it.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Sinazo Yolwa, who has been hosting the show for almost eight years, said she was excited to be back.

“It has been so long and with the cases increasing in Gauteng due to Covid-19, it has been tough to get the team back together. But we have finally done so and I’m very excited. People can expect nothing but the best because we always deliver in terms of celebrity gossip and events,” she said.

Sinazo said presenting the show has been blissful.

“When I joined the show, it was a different set, crew and presenters. So much has changed over the years. It is very sad for me to bid farewell to the show as it has been a part of my life for a long time, and taught me so much of what I know today.

“When I joined as a field presenter, I used to co-produce some of the inserts. So I learnt a lot about being in the background and production. This is the end of an era, and quite sad.”

Asked what was next for her, Sinazo told the People’s Paper that she could not wait to explore.

“I always look on the bright side and hope that whatever comes next, takes me on another path and adventure. I am looking forward to that.”
