THE new Miss Universe, our very own Zozi Tunzi has been receiving a lot of positive acknowledgment since she won the prestigious pageant a few hours ago. The event was hosted at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, USA, with Steve Harvey as host. The pageant saw young women from 90 countries compete for the coveted prize.

TV mogul Oprah Winfrey is among the powerhouse individuals that have sent out congratulatory messages to Zozi on social media.  Just before being crowned, Zozi was asked by host Steve Harvey what young girls needed to be taught, and she said: “I think the most important thing we should be teaching young girls today is leadership.

“It's something that has been lacking in young girls for a very long time, not because we don't want to but because of how society has labelled women to be. Nothing is as important as taking up space in society and cementing yourself,"

The queen of talk, Oprah tweeted that she agreed with Zozi that leadership was the most powerful thing we should be teaching young women today.
