Since he burst into the music scene after winning a talent competition, DJ and music producer Prince Kaybee has released nothing but hit song after hit song.

The talented producer, whose real name is Kabelo Motsamai, is back with another single Ayabulela, featuring Caiiro and Sykes.

Speaking to SunBuzz, he said: “Ayabulela speaks about love. It is inspired by the moments of my relationship. It is also my girlfriend’s name who I have been with for under a year now. I worked with up-and-coming artists on the song because I was once that myself. I believe that if someone was able to give you a big break, you should help others have their big break too. Don’t close the doors for other people.”

The 31-year-old artist said all the funds from his single will be donated to charity.

“I saw an opportunity to give to people because they have been supportive of my craft,” he said.

The Free State-born producer said this won’t be a once off thing. “It is very tricky because we don’t know how much the song will sell, but what I can promise is that everything from the song will go to charity, whether it is next year or two years from now. Every time money comes in from the song, we will deliver food parcels,” he said.

He said that he is in no rush to release an album. “An album takes a lot from you as an artist, I do not want to rush it and end up giving people a mediocre album, especially after the album I dropped did so well,” he said.
