Mr Yoki Yoki might have been booted off Idols SA earlier this year during the theatre week performances but his stars keeps shining. 

The career of the musician whose real name is Vhudie Mamphwe is growing by the day.

Since then, he’s successfully released his catchy audition song My Yoki Yoki he wowed the judges with.

The 20-year-old whose song has already become a favourite with fans, recently also asked rapper Kwesta to be a part of the My Yoki Yoki remix.

“Hi guys, please check out my interview and share the video to help reach Kwesta. I’d like to do my Yoki Yoki remix with him,” he tweeted.

The Spirit hitmaker responded and agreed to the budding musician’s request, but asked to give him time.

“Akubenjalo! I just have to finish off a couple other features and then we’re on. Loved that Idols audition. Plus ngathi unenhliziyo enhle so nginawe (Plus you seem like you have a very kind heart so I got you),” Kwesta said.
