SEXY actress Mo Setumo, was announced as one of the big changes during the radio stations line-up change season in Mzansi.
The former The Queen's actress was announced yesterday that she would be joining Motsweding FM drive time show co-host alongside Lucas ‘LTK’ Komanisi on the show. Mo moved up the ranks as she has been on the station's weekend party time slot.
She announced her new move on her instagram page after the station sent out an official statement.
Now she will be holding things down during drive time traffic.
This move comes at the right time for her after her exit on Mzansi Magic's soapie, The Queen where she plays the role of Mmabatho who was married to Shaka Khoza. Although her departure was announced and she shot her last episode, it has not yet aired.
Last year in December Mo lost her mother and it was clear that the two had a great relationship as she would celebrate her when she got the chance.
Taking her slot it was announced that new additions Tlotlo Mooeketsi popularly known as Vrrphaaa will be joining the weekend party time team. While breakfast time duo, Tumi Morake and Amon Mokoena will continue to host their show.
Another new development is the addition of Rev Matebesi and Rev Phiri to the stations religion shows. The religious programme for Thursday Nights between 8pm - 12am will no longer interchange, the show will permanently be presented by Modisane Modise, with Pastor Motsamai and Rev. Phiri to do the sermons on the show.
In a release, acting station manager Mr. Sibusiso Gumbi said: “It’s our responsibility as team Motsweding FM to reinvent the way people listen to the radio, to disrupt traditional thinking and to look for the new ways in which to grow audiences while instilling appreciation of the beauty of Setswana culture and language.
''The station will build on the latest listenership increase that was influenced by changes made by the station at the beginning of April 2019. Breakfast show also reached a record of 956 000 listeners in its first 10 months. The changes also reflect our commitment to grow the station to its full potential.”
The new line-up will come into affect on 1 April 2020.
