Menzi Ngubane's family is setting the record straight.
This follows widespread reports that the star was hospitalised and therefore needed prayers.
"The family of Menzi Ngubane noticed with concern spread of social media reports that our father and husband Menzi is critically ill," reads the statement in part.
However, his family have refuted the claims saying he is not gravely ill.

His wife, Sikie, confirmed that her hubby visited doctors.
"I would like to confirm that my husband is receiving family support that he needs following his recent visit to the doctors.
"It is this visit that has been grossly exaggerated by newspapers and social media," she said.
She further asked his fans to give Menzi the space to recover properly and said the family appreciates and understands their concern.
