Her death was confirmed to Daily Sun by family spokesman Oneal Africa, who said she died peacefully.
“She was unresponsive in the morning and was rushed to the hospital. She was still unresponsive up to the time of her passing,” he said.
Oneal told Daily Sun Naledi’s mum is devastated.
“She was her only child and she was extremely close to her. They spoke about everything. She basically died in her hands as she was the one nursing her throughout her sickness. She is inconsolable as Naledi meant everything to her,” he said.
Naledi had been battling cancer since November 2019, and Oneal said her condition was better.
“She was recovering well, but the cancer would come and go. It was bad than the last every time it returned, hence today we find ourselves in this kind of a situation,” he said.
