JERUSALEMA hitmaker Master KG is leading the Mzansi pack for this year’s African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMAs).
His mega hit featuring Nomcebo was nominated for Best Male Southern Africa, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration and AFRIMMA Video of the Year.
This year’s nominees, including many of our local artists were recently announced. Black Coffee, Tshego, Cassper Nyovest and Yanga were also nominated for Best Male Southern Africa alongside Master KG, while Sho Madjozi, Busiswa, Ami Faku and newcomers Azana and Elaine were nominated under Best Female Southern Africa.
Sho Madjozi’s hit John Cena was also nominated for Song Of The Year.
Gospel legends Benjamin Dube and Winnie Mashaba scooped nominations for Best Gospel.
Yanga Chief, Nasty C, Nadia Nakai and Rouge were nominated for Best Male and Best Female Rap Act and 947 host DJ Fresh was nominated for Radio/TV Personality of the Year.
