THE Limpopo Music Awards (Limas) have assured voters that there isn’t a problem with their voting lines.
This after they encountered a technical error. The nominees were announced on Monday, 20 September via their social media platforms.
They released a statement on social media to let people know that they were aware of the technical error, but it will not affect the votes that were cast.
The statement read: “Lima team is aware of the technical error with the voting lines. Please note that all votes received for artists remain valid and are registered.
“Our team is working tirelessly to resolve this matter as soon as possible. Keep voting for your favourite artist, your votes are important.”
Limas CEO Fortune “DJ Cappuccino” Maswanganyi spoke to Daily Sun about the error and what happened.
“Actually, there were no challenges. The voting lines are going well. It just didn’t respond back to voters with an SMS, but votes are correctly recorded,” he said.
