REINVENTION is very important in the entertainment industry.

Many shows fail because they lack the creativity to adapt to change but Skeem Saam has introduced five new young faces to keep their fans glued to their screens.

Like the former pupils of the infamous Turfloop High School, Kwaito, Tbose, Kat, Pretty, Mapitsi, Koloi, Noah and Clement, these new teens will be stirring trouble and dealing with life as it hits them.

Mahlatse and Letetswe have already entertained viewers with their chaotic lives. It’s no different for Paxton, who has also started giving his parents, Mr and Mrs Kgomo, a headache.

Paxton’s joining has also meant more screen time for the Kgomos, who were late in the limelight when their daughter Kele was murdered. As schools opened yesterday, 12 January, viewers met two new cast members, Lewatle and Mosebjadi.

In Joburg, Lehasa recently found out Pretty is no longer pregnant, and he is shocked. His girlfriend, Khwezi has gone to Turfloop to kidnap Pretty.

On Durban Gen, the Dr Dhlomo has joined the team at Durban General Hospital and nurses are already eyeing him.

Calvin and Lindiwe finally got married while she was in hospital, and now that she has died, Calvin is not coping. In the streets of KwaMashu on Uzalo, Sbu has viewers heartbroken after he and vlogger, Nomzamo, were injured at a construction site. Meanwhile, Nkunzi is head over heels in love with Philippe’s wife, Ndoni and he is playing with fire. Nkunzi’s son, Sibonelo and his ex-wife, Nonka seem to be rekindling their relationship.
