LaSauce’s music career is blossoming. On Saturday she dropped her second album, Sindisiwe.
“The album has 12 tracks. Two of those tracks, Emafini and Njalo, had already been released,” she said.
“The entire album is a reflection of my journey in the industry. All the songs were composed by myself.

“The album is already available on all platforms and it’s on high rotation on national radio stations.
“On this album I worked with a couple of producers, including Malo.”
LaSauce, whose real name is Sindisiwe Magoso, was born and raised in a village in Umzinto, on the KZN South Coast.
“It’s in this village that I decided one day I’d make my voice heard,” she said.
“Unfortunately, the odds were against me. My surroundings at the time didn’t allow me to do what I loved.
“But suppression of my talent made me break free. I’d listen to music programmes on radio and watch TV. From a very young age I could relate and translate various types of music. I was quickly drawn to pop and R&B.”
She was barely a teenager when she started writing her own songs.

“In 2017, I joined Ambitiouz Entertainment, and in that same year I released my debut single, Coolerbag,” she said.
“It’s inspired by the youthful energy when going out and enjoying life.”
That same year she released her debut album, Broken Lipstick.
“This album talks about growth into adulthood.”
Despite everything, LaSauce said, this year had been good to her.
