PEOPLE on Twitter are not impressed with Khanyi Mbau.

This after the media personality made fun of leaving her boyfriend Terrence Mushonga in Dubai.

In a video trending on Twitter, Khanyi is seen dancing on top of a table, singing about how she left Dubai.

The lyrics of the song she was singing are: “Shiya indoda e Dubai. Phuma ngathi uyabuya”, which means leave your man in Dubai, leave like you’re coming back.

She also posted a picture on Instagram and captioned it, “Leave like you’re coming back”.

Khanyi then posted her picture and Terrence on her Instagram stories and wrote: “I don’t hate you, I never will. Now laugh, I am. We grow and learn.”

Two weeks back, Khanyi had her fans in Mzansi worried when Terrence said she went missing. He took to social media and said he was up in the early hours of the morning, searching for her.

It later turned out that she was coming back to Mzansi and hadn’t told him. She later reassured people she was well and home safe.

The currently trending video has divided people on Twitter.

While some were laughing at the video and enjoying Khanyi’s creativity, most people, especially men, weren’t happy. They said if a man was doing what she did, he’d be attacked and cancelled.

She was called out by famous tweeps like Cellular, Hermaine M and Chris Excel.

Cellular wrote: “The fact that some of y’all are praising Khanyi’s behaviour is very disturbing”.

“I hate this nonsense. Pouting face. . . Khanyi did that guy dirty, simps and women said it’s a public stunt kodwa when a man does it they make sure he’s cancelled and lose his job and all that,” wrote Comzimo Ntsomi.

Chris Excel said: “Khanyi is such an embarrassment, especially for a woman who’s raising a daughter. A teaspoon of iintloni is very important sometimes,” he said.

“Lol, if a man . . . any man was pulling the stunts Khanyi is pulling, he would be labelled and called all sorts of names now, and we’d all be painted with the same brush. On some, ‘Fear men’,” wrote Pal Mabelane.
