Tweeps embarked on a hashtag, #KhanyiMbauGetsEngaged that was trending number one on Twitter.
Many people, including Khanyi, were confused.
Khanti tweeted: "WOKE UP TO THIS ???? #KhanyiMbauGetsEngaged TRENDING! WHATS GOING ON? How am I ENGAGED? To whom ? To what?"
While some people were confused, some joined in on the fun and also confused other people.
The trend was started by a tweep who said they should confuse Khanyi Mbau and start the hashtag.
