GROWING up, Bonolo Tlaletse knew she was meant to shine on screen and it’s all unraveling right in front of her.
Today, actress Bonolo can portray any role given to her.
The rising star describes acting as a space for creating a world where one can live and relate with the storyline.
Bonolo is one of the new faces on Mzansi Magic’s popular drama series, Rockville.
She plays the role of a detective who’s investigating a robbery that took place at JB’s hotel.
She told SunBuzz that she draws inspiration from a certain Lieutenant Mokae from her home town of Golf View in Mahikeng, North West.
“He’s very firm,” she said.
The actress was also part of Mzansi Magic movie Naphtal, in which she played Palesa.
The film was directed by actor Motlatsi Mafatshe, who taught Bonolo to trust her instincts and be in charge of her character.

Before she appeared on TV, Bonolo said, she did a lot of theatre work.
“Theatre is my first love,” she said.
The actress studied performing art at Sibikwa Arts in Benoni, Joburg, for three years.
“I specialised in dance, drama and music,” said Bonolo.
“However, drama has taken over from my three interests.”
The vibrant actress hopes her face will become a regular one on TV.
