Radio presenter and TV personality Hulisani Ravele is on a quest to bring clean water to rural communities around Mzansi.

The 31-year-old 94.7 weekend host has partnered with Kusini Water to use her celebrity status to uplift under privileged areas in South Africa, and ultimately the whole African continent.

“When making decisions on which partnerships I enter into I am guided by my mission and mantra: to be involved in projects that have purpose, power and impact. Kusini Water speaks to all those pillars and I am excited to add my voice to their work and their mission. There are many challenges in our country and Kusini wants to be a part of the solution, it is an honour to be asked to be a part of that," she said.

She added that this is part of a campaign to bring safe and clean water to 5 million people in the next 5 years.

“I always been involved with the company owners behind the scenes, but it was on a consultancy level. This project is an opportunity to use my influence to change people’s lives for the better,” she added.

She said that this was also an opportunity to show people what they can do before the government comes on board.

“This is the little I can do without the government, and hopefully it can show them what they are supposed to do.”
