DJ Zan-D and a friend recently visited HHP’s grave.

He took to Twitter to share a photo at the grave, which didn’t have a tombstone.

A lot of people were shocked and suggested people crowdfund to buy a tombstone for the late HHP, whose real name was Jabulani Tsambo.

Crowdfund raises money from a large number of people who each contribute a small amount via the internet.

But HHP’s wife Lerato Sengadi responded, saying there was no need to go that route.

"I can afford to erect a stone for my husband. If I was allowed to!"

She tweeted: “No need to crowdfund. I can afford to erect a stone for my husband. If I was allowed to! In fact, I would have had it done on the same day as his funeral. But ke.”

When called for comment, Lerato told the SunTeam: “I said what I said. There’s a lot of dynamics involved and I’d rather not say anything as it’s a family matter. It’s a private matter.”

Speaking on behalf of the Tsambo family, Nkululeko Ncana said: “There’s a court process under way at the Supreme Court of Appeal because of the previous ruling.

“We’re not going to entertain any conversation around Jabulani or anything, especially from the very same person we have a matter with.

“If anything, with everything that has been said, I read the tweets and the tone, so we’re not going to be part of that.”

He said no one was told not to do anything nor asked for anything, as far as the family was concerned.

“Jabulani will have a tombstone. Right now the family is not in that space to fight or having such conversations.”
