RAPPER Cassper Nyovest has donated a R150 000 in an attempt to save Nompilo Dlamini’s life.
Nompilo suffers from a disease called cystic fibrosis.
In May, she announced on her Twitter page that she needs help.
In June she announced that she might die soon and wrote: “Tomorrow my psychologist is preparing me for my next life since I’m at the end stage so now I have to live my life knowing I will die soon since the lung transplant is farfetched for now. Doctors are just going to try all they can to keep me in less pain and help me transition well. Here is my GoFundMe account, please help me get the new lungs I need so much. Please help me retweet to get the help I need. It doesn’t have to be too late.”
Her post touched thousands of people including Cassper Nyovest.
He has since taken it upon himself to raise funds to save Nompilo’s life.

In a video clip he said: “A few days ago I came across the story of Nompilo Dlamini. She is a young girl in Swaziland, facing a life-threatening disease. Her story touched me because she was very positive even though she is going through so much. The disease is called cystic fibrosis. It’s a genetic disease that affects multiple organs including the lungs, which makes it hard for her to breathe. The current difficulty is that she does not have funds to aid the situation. What makes it more difficult is the current situation in Swaziland and the internet shutdowns. She is not able to raise her voice and so I decided I’d raise mine for her. They are trying to raise R2 million to help with her medical bill and for her to get new lungs. I’ve decided to donate R150 000 and I’m trying to rally the rest of you guys to help me try to save her life. I believe you and you can save her life. It doesn’t matter how much you donate. Please help me as I try to save her life. #SaveNompilo.”
