GOSPEL singer Ruth Mthabine heals broken souls with her music.

She told SunBuzz that her music ministry aims to empower, heal as well as restore love, peace and faith.

She also aims to unite people in the world through her music.

The singer is from Hluvukani in the Greater Manyeleti area of Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga.

She said she knew from a young age that she was called to heal and restore hope to the neglected and broken souls.

Ruth, who’s a wife, mother, life coach and a businesswoman, also ministers the word of God.

She released an EP late last year titled Rooted, which has three songs.

It has been well received by a lot of people and is being played on many radio stations in Mzansi.

“I am currently working on my full album that will hit the shelves by the end of April next year. God called me to minister comfort, and healing through music.

“At an early age I gave and committed my life to Christ and haven’t looked back since then.

“Through mountains and valleys, the Lord has continued to order my steps until I discovered my purpose of ministry through music,” said Ruth.

In 2017, she went through a very dark season in her life. She said overcoming that made her more bold and brave.

“I started to appreciate the opportunities that God presented to me to make an impact in the lives of others,” she said.

Ruth said it took her losing someone dear to her to realise God’s purpose for her life.

“I am however grateful that my pain helped me overcome my tears and propelled me towards my destiny. Singing saved me from the sad days, and my prayer is that my music will do the same to those who are listening to it,” she said.
