CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Rethabile Khumalo.
The Umlilo singer recently got engaged and the good news was announced by her mum, Winnie.
She posted a video of Rethabile announcing her news on Instagram along with a caption, which read: “Congratulations my nunus on your engagement.”
In the video, Rethabile can be seen screaming with excitement.
She says: “Hi guys, today turned out to be one of the best days of my life because I said yes. I got engaged today. Oh my God.”
She then flashes her ring for everyone to see. Her industry friends were quick to congratulate her.

Busi Kunene posted: “Congratulations Retha, you deserve all the happiness coming way. Winnie ukuzala ukuzelula literally.”
Mpumi Somandla wrote: “Congratulations to your baby girl.”
Speaking to Daily Sun, Winnie said the engagement happened on Tuesday, 25 January.
“I’m happy Rethabile has someone to spend the rest of her life with. I guess this is every parent’s dream. As a family, we are very excited and trying to keep everything private.
“My son-in-law is not a public figure, so we’re not going to disclose his identity. They’ve known each other for over three years and are happy,” she said.
“Lobola negotiations and wedding arrangements haven’t started yet but plans are underway for both families to meet. Otherwise, we will keep everyone posted via social media platforms.”
Rethabile rose to fame when she was featured on DJ Zinhle’s track Umlilo. She has since launched a solo career and has collaborated with artists such as Master KG and Lenzo.
