BUSINESSMAN and owner of Drip Footwear Lekau Sehoana is in mourning.
The sneaker maker has announced that the brand’s managing director, Glenda Ndlanzi, has died.
According to reports, she was shot dead outside her home in Pretoria on Monday, 18 October.
She had been a part of Lekau’s life since childhood.
“Glenda was instrumental in the establishment, development and growth of the Drip brand. She was the foundation, rock and anchor of our Drip family. We will truly miss her passion, dedication and loyalty to the brand,” a statement read.
It added that the family was grateful for the calls and messages of comfort received so far.
“We ask that you give the family time and space to process their painful loss. Details of the memorial service will be shared in due course.”
Lekau, who is allegedly fearing for his life, also took to social media to share that he was shattered.
“My life will never be the same again. I am shattered. I don’t know how I will run this business without you. You are literally Drip Footwear. Oh Glenda, rest in eternal peace MaNdlanzi, Lala sisi,” he said.
