When days are dark, are friends really few?

This is the question Nokuthula is grappling with on DiepCity

She’s going through a rough patch following her dad’s arrest. He witnessed crime, but never reported it.

As usual, because Nokuthula isn’t working after being blacklisted by Mgedeza, she turned to her friends for assistance.

But they were only able to help with a certain amount of money than what she needed, which left her unhappy.

She thinks that they’ve thrown her in the deep end as she trusted them to help raise R50 000.

However, they did try their best to help her.

This should be a lesson that friendship should not be taken lightly or exploited.

Meikie’s verdict was read out in court and justice has finally prevailed.

She was found guilty of using an illegal firearm and the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Besides the drama, tears were also the order of the day as the court delivered the verdict.

Meikie could not hold back her tears, leaving the court torn apart with half being happy and the rest feeling sorry for her.

It will be interesting to see how her sentencing pans out. Will she receive a heavy sentence or not?

And most importantly, will she accept it?
