AFRO soul singer Busiswa is ready to launch her new record label, Majesty Music.

The artist, whose real name is Busiswa Gqulu, got her first break when she was featured on DJ Zinhle’s hit single, My Name Is, in 2012. She hasn’t looked back since.

After years under DJ Oskido’s guidance, Busiswa said she was ready to move to another level.

“I was with Kalawa Jazmee for six years and realised I had learnt enough. It’s time for me to be independent,” said the 30-year-old.

Busiswa wants to unearth young talent through her label.

“Majesty Music is a place for royalty and queens. I’m looking for young new females who are ready to kick a** in the game,” she said.

Busiswa said she left Kalawa Jazmee after her contract ended last year.

She told Daily Sun her label only had one artist at the moment.

“I’m not in a rush. I’m taking my own time to eventually achieve a business platform to provide mentorship to newcomers,” she said.

She recently released a single, Drinks of Me.
