UP-AND-COMING house vocalist Buhle N is glad she’s finally making music.
The 23-year-old from Khayelitsha in Cape Town spent the past two years fighting to be recognised.
Buhle Ndyulo told SunBuzz she’s finally where she’s meant to be.
“In 2018 I decided to follow my dream of becoming a singer,” she said.
“I was already a video vixen, so I thought it would be easy.
“I approached people, asking for help, but no one took me seriously despite knowing me.

“Nonetheless, I didn’t give up. I ended up recording the song Ndiyayazi.
“A label called 011 Entertainment heard the song and approached me earlier this year.
“After trying to get recognition for a long time, I’m glad it finally happened.”
Buhle started out as a model and video vixen but always nursed grander ambitions.
“Growing up, I wanted to be the next Beyonce. I’d watch her concerts and imitate her, and that’s where my love of music really came from.
“So, even though I was a model I knew what my calling was. I was just scared.”
Buhle is working on her EP, which she hopes to release next month.
“I released my first single, True Blue, in September.”
