TWEEPS are calling for Mzansi Magic’s former soapie Isibaya to be brought back.
This after parody account Mr Handsome started the hashtag #BringBackIsibaya on Twitter.
The hashtag has been gaining momentum.
He and the people who are taking part in the hashtag say they aren’t happy with Diep City, and want Isibaya back on screens.
Mr Handsome started the hashtag on Tuesday night, 11 May and asked tweeps if they think it was the right decision to replace Isibaya.
“Do you think @Mzansimagic did the right thing by replacing Isibaya with Diep City Mzansi bioskop?” he asked.

Isibaya was canned and aired its last episode on 2 April. Daily Sun reported that the soapie was canned because of low ratings after it failed to make the top 10 repeatedly.
Diep City, created by award-winning director Mandla N, took over from 5 April. It stars such as Dawn Thandeka King, Nozuko Ncayiyane, Hamilton Dlamini and Mduduzi Mabaso.
Some people have been calling for Isibaya to come back for a while, but the hashtag was only pushed by Mr Handsome.
One of the tweeps who complained, Warrant Madlala, said he can’t watch Diep City.
“Honestly I tried watching it, but I can’t seem to continue watching. I change channels fast. Isibaya can return please,” he wrote.
Tweep Lwandz asked that they return Isibaya for his gogo’s sake.
“On behalf of gogo, please bring back Isibaya. It was the only thing she enjoyed on TV other than indaba ngo 7 #BringBackIsibaya,” he wrote.
