BOITY Thulo has something to smell nice about.
She’s just launched her first fragrance.
She said making Boity Pink Sapphire took a year and it was a dream come true.
Speaking to Daily Sun, an excited Boity said it marked the first of many perfumes to come.
“This is one of many things I want to share with my fans. The experience of making it was amazing.
“I worked with a manufacturing company from France to mix the ingredients,” she said.
“We went through various ideas I had until we got the perfect scent. I had to describe exactly what I wanted to feel when I smelled it.”
She said the process of making it was exciting because she learnt a lot.
“I learnt about everything from the packaging to the presentation.
“The team I worked with made the process seamless for me.
“I couldn’t have done it without them.
Boity said she wanted her perfume to give women who wore it a sense of pride.
“It’s not only about me, it’s about women.
“I want them to feel good about themselves when they are wearing my fragrance,” she said.
“I want women to feel sexy and good about their femininity. I want women to be memorable when they walk out of a room.”
Boity said her fragrance cost R499 for 100ml.
