ENTERTAINER and social media influencer, Bobo Mbhele, is now an ambassador for a digi-smart bench.

Bobo is famously known for the line, “Ilwa ntomboo ungavumi ukuba mubi.”

A few weeks ago, Bobo launched beauty products called Ilwa Ntomboo.

A few days later, Bobo released a debut single, Ilwa Ntomboo, with DJ Maphorisa.

Now the youngster has been headhunted by a Durban-based company, JDP, to promote one of their fitness products, a digi-smart bench.

“A digi-smart bench is the first of its kind in the world, manufactured here in South Africa. It’s particularly designed for sportspeople as well as those living with disabilities.

“What makes it different from all other gym products is the fact that it uses a mobile app. This means the user does not have to manually control it. Instead, he or she can simply adjust it using a mobile app,” said Bobo.

“As an ambassador of the digi-smart bench, I can confidently say this product is comfortable, safe and user-friendly.”

Bobo was chosen alongside AmaZulu goalkeeper, Siyabonga Mbatha and actor Thembinkosi Mthembu.

Joash Perumal from JDP told Daily Sun it was Bobo’s bubbly personality that won them over.

“We were looking for someone who can appeal to the market, hence we chose Bobo. We also chose Siyabonga because he is a sportsman.

“We are aware that sportsmen often get injuries and sometimes those injuries are so bad that they cannot exercise anymore. We then came up with this product.”
