“This installment particularly targets the times artists live in now where the industry has completely taken a dire turn due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is to pettition to God for our government to not forget the arts industry and remember it’s importance in the role it plays in healing the nation through these gifts,” read the statement.
Pastor Benjamin said this show is about standing for justice.
“We have Legitimately and chronically demoralized artists that if not encouraged and mentored, would be lost because of anxiety, depression and ignorance, due to inconsiderate leadership and bias of government towards these distinct parts of society. Showing meekness and patriotism is not timidity. We are not shy to make a stand for justice and righteousness,” he said.
“It is an illusion to think the gospel or church does not play a distinct role in the restoration and healing of our country. Contrary to popular belief, artists and musician’s livelihood is inusing their God-given gifts. But there is no consideration even after a straineous year for the gospel industry from our trusted leadership. We have to make it to the other side with pieces of our lives,” he continued.
