Sjava says he'll score two goals at the soccer match against maskandi singers.

ARTIST Sjava is set to score two goals at a soccer match this evening.

He spoke to Daily Sun prior to today’s game between maskandi and hip-hop artists.

“I’m the hope of hip-hop artists and I can assure my teammates that I’m in good form. I’m going to score at least two goals. I’m confident because I’ve been practising hard,” he said.

Sjava, AKA, Kid X, Big Zulu, Riky Rick and Kwesta are among the rappers who will face maskandi personalities such as Ukhozi FM presenter Khathide “Tshatha” Ngobe, Ntencane, Jaiva Zimnike, Ngiga, Mzukulu and Khuzani.

The match is set to take place at Mboleko Stadium in Tshwane at 6.30pm.

According to one of the organisers Big Zulu, the game will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook.

“The purpose of the game is to unite artists in the music industry. This means in the future, we will have other genres of music like kwaito vs amapiano on the pitch. Ultimately, we will host music festivals after each game,” he said, adding that the winners will get a trophy and respect.
