AMERICAN DJ and producer DJ Hustle is excited to perform in what he calls his second home, Mzansi.

The 36-year-old musician from New York, USA will be one of the headliners at the Beer Buffet Festival on Saturday, 26 March.

He has been in the country since January and he’s now gearing up for his performance.

The second annual Beer Buffet Festival will take place at the Soweto Cricket Oval in Moroka, Soweto.

The DJ, whose real name is Sam Deckon, spoke to SunBuzz about his love of Mzansi.

“My first time in Africa was in 2005 where I worked as a radio show host for Cool FM in Nigeria. I then joined Nigerian superstar D’banj to a trip to South Africa in 2012. When we got here, I met Black Coffee and Tbo Touch at an event they were headlining.

“I really clicked well with them and I started getting invites to the country and I really fell in love with it,” he said.

The musician said he cannot wait to experience Soweto.

“I can’t wait to play at the Beer Buffet Festival 2022 in Soweto. I think everyone in the world has to know that South Africa, Soweto is the place everyone has to experience at least once in their lifetime. I cannot wait to be there,” he said.
