LEADING amapiano vocalist, Sir Trill has come out to clear the confusion about a video of him and a group of girls making the rounds on social media.
This after he trended on social media on Monday, 11 October when a video of him chilling with girls in a hotel room circulated.
People claimed the girls were minors and called him a predator. But Sir Trill’s manager, Given Maseko, said they were filming a music video for Vukani Khoza’s new song, Raythu Raythu, whichfeatures 3Kota.
Given explained to Daily Sun how the video ended up on social media. “We were filming a music video and one of the girls got excited to see Sir Trill and recorded the video. She posted it on her WhatsApp status and I guess it was taken from her status and posted on Twitter and Facebook.”
He said the person who released the video online lied.
“We didn’t even bother to comment or try to correct anything because we knew there was nothing behind that video.
“However, the problem was how it was posted,” he said.
“The person claimed those girls are underage, which is what caused the uproar. But also, the video shows Sir Trill keeping to himself and not touching the girls or anything like that.”
Vukani attested to Given’s comment and said he booked the hotel. He said the girls are video vixens.
“We were really shooting a video on Sunday, 10 October and there was nothing wrong. I can also confirm that I booked the hotel and those girls are over the age of 16. We also shot the video in a club and they were allowed in. If anything wrong was done, I would’ve spoken up,” said Vukani.
