The film director and actress Mmabatho Montsho’s film called The Award Ceremony gets recognition abroad for the Worldwide Women’s Film Festival.
The show will be held on 07 to 09 February 2020 in Arizona in the United States of America.
The 36-year-old from Soweto shared on her social media page that their film was selected for its first film festival.
She wrote as a caption that read: “Our film The Award Ceremony is officially selected for it's very first film festival - @WWFilmFestival 2020 in Arizona USA. to the talented cast and crew! To many more!”
Mmabatho’s work is always displayed in theatres and cinemas, and is now getting what it deserves.
The actress has produced movies such as A Hotel Called Memory, Nothing For Mahala, and Happiness Is A Four-Letter Word.
She has won awards of the Golden Horn Award for the Best Achievement in Script Achievement in Script in a TV Drama.
