Former Kaizer Chiefs left-back Robson Muchichwa believes only a foreign coach can save the club from its current misery.
On Tuesday, the Glamour Boys dropped more points at home in their entertaining 2-2 draw against TS Galaxy FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
As a consequence, they might drop out of the Top Eight bracket on Wednesday if one of the teams below them win.
Muchichwa believes the local coaches are too weak to stand up against the club's management.

"I think Kaizer Chiefs need a serious build-up for next season," Muchichwa tells KickOff.
"This season is down the drain for Chiefs already, and yesterday's performance doesn't give a reflection of a good team.
"For me, Chiefs just need to rebuild, and for me the quality of coaching at Chiefs is out as well.
"We need someone who is going to bring the best out of the players, we need someone new, someone we don't know, someone like Nasredine Nabi. You can see how well he is doing at his current club.
"We need someone who is going to bring fresh ideas to this Chiefs team. We need someone who is going to influence the management as well, we don't need a coach who is a yes-man.
"Chiefs need someone who is going to influence and even change the management's thinking as well.
"We need someone who is going to refresh everything in that club. When a coach joins a big team, he is given a mandate and he is told, 'This is how much the club is going to spend on players'," explains the former darling of the Amakhosi faithful.
Muchichwa then reveals why a local coach is not suited for a club like Chiefs, where the demands and fan pressure are currently at an all-time high owing to an enduring trophy drought.
"I think that is what makes things difficult for these local coaches, they don't have the guts to tell the management that, 'This is the type of players that I want, this is what I demand'.
"That's the difference between a local coach and a foreign coach, as local coaches don't demand enough. That’s why we end up being told what to do, and that's why clubs management end up interfering.

"We don't have the guts to tell clubs that, 'This is how I work', which lines shouldn't be crossed.
"I think this is what most local coaches don't do actually."
