BEHIND every successful man is a strong woman.
This is what Abner Tshabalala from Pimville zone 7, Soweto said about his wife, Tshepiso.
“I drive this car because of my wife. She is a very strong woman. I am grateful to have her in my life. I love her very much.”
Abner drives a 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 MG.
Q: When did you buy this car?
A: I ordered the car in October 2014. It was not yet available but there were adverts. It was delivered on 31 December the same year.
Q: Is it your first car?
A: No, it is my fifth but I am only left with two cars: my BMW 320i and this one.
Q: Why do you like this one?
A: It has everything I want in a car. It is comfortable and the sound system is powerful – what more could I possibly want?
Q: What features do you like most?
A: Everything people want in a car is available here. It is a top class vehicle.
Q: Would you change anything?
A: There is nothing I want to modify. It is perfect as it is.
Q: Why did you choose it in white?
A: Only white was available when I ordered it.
Q: Is this your dream car?
A: No, my dream car is a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.
But just because I also want a Lamborghini and to live in a Winchester Hills mansion doesn’t mean I don’t love this car.
Q: Have you driven long distances in it yet?
A: The only long distance trip in this car was when I drove it to Bloemfontein recently.
Q: Do you get traffic fines?
A: Not at all. I am very cautious behind the wheel.
Q: Would you allow another person to drive your wheels?
A: Yes, my wife Tshepiso. She drives well and I trust her with my cars.
Q: What do you think of other drivers on Mzansi roads?
A: Some drive cautiously while other don’t obey the rules of the road.
We cannot control their driving. We can only encourage them to change their attitudes and be good drivers.
But they won’t change overnight.
