WHEN last did you hear about the Pajero?
Well, if you haven’t, here is the new and sophisticated Pajero Sport.
The world’s first passenger SUV with full-time four-wheel drive, the PX33, was launched by Mitsubishi in 1933. More than 80 years later, Mitsubishi is launching their all-new Pajero Sport, a luxurious purpose-built car-SUV crossover delivering similar refined driving dynamics as many powerful, spacious and luxurious sedans, for a much more favourable price than its peers – under R600 000!
Improved driving
This stylishly designed, new-generation Mitsubishi SUV offers vastly improved driving dynamics – including a class-leading eight-speed automatic gearbox for both the two-wheel and four-wheel drive models.
The four-wheel drive also includes Mitsubishi’s latest version of its Super Select 4-II 4WD system, which now also boasts electronic off-road assistance.
New engine
The new Pajero Sport is powered by the Japanese vehicle makers’ new-generation high-performance MIVEC 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine.
The engine plus the new, best-in-class eight-speed automatic gearbox, with intelligent shift control, results in effortless driving dynamics.
The highly-acclaimed Super Select 4-II four-wheel drive also includes special features such as hill descent and off-road mode control.
The Sport features black as part of its design including its roof, front and rear mud guards, windshield moulds, front and rear bumpers as well as a stylish rear spoiler.
Luxury interior
As far as cabin features are concerned, the Sport stands proud in the presence of its often much pricier competitors.
