This weekend, you can experience the most exciting motoring event at Kyalami in Midrand.

This week’s WesBank Motoring Experience at Kyalami promises to be one of the biggest motoring extravaganzas ever held at this racing venue.

Not only will visitors be able to view the latest production cars but they may be able to drive some of them. The range of cars on display include speciality cars, supercars and rare classics.

Konstantin von Vieregge, CEO of SA Shows Messe Frankfurt, the organisers, said: “We have an agreement with the team who injected the spice into the extremely popular Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival in the UK, and they are doing the same for our event.”

More than 20 car brands, including most of the major names, will be represented at the Motoring Experience.

Many vendors have rented spaces at the racing pits to provide access to racing circuit which allows them to drive a few laps in their own customised, high-performance cars.

Other sorts of vehicles – especially SUVs – have become part of many motorising lifestyle trends these days, whether its for roughing it on adventures off the beaten track or transporting kids to school, and the show organisers have taken these requirements into their plans for the Motoring Experience.

AutoTrader brings visitors the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a tummy-flipping lap around the track with an international Monster Energy driver.

To enter, visitors must simply snap a pic alongside a signature Ken Block vehicle cut-out, which will be hosted on the AutoTrader stand at SA Motoring Experience. Prospective passengers need to post their photos online with the tags @AutoTraderSA and #WinAHotLap to enter. The competition runs for the full three show days.

The drivers will be competing at the Gymkhana GRiD to be held this November at Carnival City. For more information visit www.autotrader.co.za.
