This mother of two boys has to strike a balance between her bike and her family.
Neo says biking brings out the best in you but only if you ride safely.
“You must respect the rules of the road and the other road users.”
Q: When did you start?
A: I started riding back in 2012.
Q: What was your first bike?
A: I started with 250cc Pajaj. I later upgraded to my Suzuki Boulevard 800cc which I still own and love to bits.
Q: How often do you get traffic fines?
A: Not that often. I think it goes with how much you respect the rules of the road combined with your training.
Q: Does your bike have a nickname?
A: Yes, I call it Brown Fox!
Q: Why did you choose that name?
A: I chose it because the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
Q: Do you have a licence?
A: Yes, I got my learner’s licence in 2011 and my rider’s licence in 2012.
It is important to have the right training before you get on the road – it is the right way to ride.
Q: How often do you ride?
A: I ride every chance I get but mainly over holidays and weekends.
Q: Tell us about your outfit?
A: I have Suzuki safety gear. It is important to be protected if you are involved in an accident. You will get injured but not too badly, but you must wear your helmet, gloves and full safety gear.
We feel it is our duty to encourage and remind other riders to be safe all the time when on the road.
Q: How far have you travelled?
A: I have been to Swaziland, Lesotho and Limpopo but I’m still going to do more travelling in the future.
