LIFE is what you make of it!

That is what Paul Molale, from The Hill in Joburg, told himself many years ago.

Now he is living his dream of owning some of the most expensive cars on the road.

“I always tell people that whatever you want to achieve in this life, you will get it, but it takes hard work and determination,” said Paul.

SunWheels spotted Paul while driving his SRT 8 at Maponya Mall in Soweto.

Q: When did you buy your car?

A: About four years ago.

Q: Is it your first?

A: No, my seventh. I list all my cars from Molale 1 up to Molale 7.

Q: Does it have a pet name?

A: Yes, I call my car Nginga because it is an eye-catcher. If you drive an eye-catcher, people respect you wherever you go.

People also take pictures of my car and I love how it makes a statement when I open the doors.

Q: Why do you love your car so much?

A: It is beautiful. It is very classy, fast, convenient, has space and its performance on the open road is out of this world.

Q: What features do you like the most?

A: I love all of them.

Q: How much did it cost to install the upward-opening doors?

A: They cost me R50 000 but the sound system was R128 000, and the 24-inch Giovanna rims were R185 000 – they are so very beautiful.

Q: Is Nginga your dream car?

A: No, while I love my SRT 8 very much, my dream car is a Mercedes G-Wagon. It’s on order and I will own it very soon.

I will invite SunWheels again. It costs over R2 million. If I can own that car, I will be happy. But I will still keep this one as it is still very close to my heart.

Q: Did you get any speeding tickets with Nginga?

A: Yes, about 10 of them.

Q: What music plays in your car?

A: I listen to all kinds of music. If I’m not playing music, I tune into Lesedi FM.

Q: Have you ever taken it on a long distance trip?

A: Yes, when I go home to Hennenman. It’s a small town in the Lejweleputswa district of the Free State.
