THESE 22 women teamed up to support each other.

This stokvel called Candy Ladies Kitchen Party was started back in September 2016 by four women.

Members of Candy Ladies come together to buy kitchen appliances like kettles and cutlery for themselves.

Chairwoman Sebolelo Msebenzi told SunStokvel: “Some friends and I came up with the idea.

“When we started, it was Nomsa Yibane, Nontsizi Phadi, Tshidi Tlhatlhegi and I contributing R100 each to buy appliances for each other.”

Nomsa said: “Now, as a bigger team, we also discuss plans to travel the country and meet new people.

“Sharing is caring, and this attitude teaches us to be selfless, and how to become responsible mothers.

“As Candy Ladies grows, we’re looking to buy bigger appliances such as fridges and washing machines.”

The group uses a bank account which they wish to use to grow into an even bigger and more successful stokvel.

The members had smiles over the weekend at a member’s house in Simunye when they celebrated her birthday.

They had soft drinks and lunch while listening to R&B, sang songs of joy, and shared photos and messages on Facebook.

“We will be over the moon, seeing ourselves appearing in Daily Sun,” said Yibane.

Yibane spoke more about their future and said: “If our dream is to buy Aston Martins or Lamborghinis for each other, then we must persevere and grow. A dream without plans and hard work is just a day wasted in bed.”

The confident women all wanted to pose in front for SunStokvel’s photographer and delighted each other with their different poses.
