ZENI CAN RELAX!

accreditation

THE FACTS

ZENI Mazibana from Daveyton, Ekurhuleni said she wrote a letter to Morkels in March last year, asking them to repair the lounge suite she had recently bought.

She complained that the material of the furniture had cracks, and they collected it.

She was quoted R6 270, which she paid in full.

When the suite came back she realised it had been covered with the same material that had been cracking, instead of the genuine leather she asked for.

One of the couches had a hole underneath and had lost its original shape. She complained, and again it was taken for repairs.

This time she was quoted R3 648 and she thought it was unfair.

She said she spoke to the manager at the Mayfield branch and the regional manager but they did not take care of her problem.

She then asked SunDefender to help.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to Sasha Kirsten of the JD Group.

SOLUTION

Kirsten said she logged a complaint on their system and it was investigated.

She reported that the unit was returned to the customer.

Zeni confirmed her lounge suite had been repaired and delivered.

She is happy with its condition and on top of it, she was given a two-year guarantee.
