Vulikhanya to get his money this month

accreditation

THE FACTS

VULIKHANYA Myoyo from Khayelitsha in Cape Town sold his father’s house in Welkom. He argues that he had an agreement with the buyer that the price would be R150 000. He said the buyer transferred the funds to Haasbroek-Willemse attorneys in Welkom. Vulikhanya said in March this year the attorneys transferred only R110 000 into his bank account. He has been waiting for the balance, but with no luck. He said it cost him money to travel all the way from Cape Town to Welkom just to find out about the delay. He visited the SunDefender in Khayelitsha.

WHAT I DID

I contacted Marelise Naude at Haasbroek-Willemse, who promised to look into the query.

SOLUTION

The matter has been resolved amicably. Vulikhanya’s money will be transferred into his account this month.
