VICTOR FINALLY GETS HIS LATE DAD'S MONEY

accreditation

THE FACTS

VICTOR Masingile from Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni said his father Joseph Masingile died in 2002.

In 2013, he was contacted by someone from Old Mutual in Queenstown, Eastern Cape.

He said the person told him he was the beneficiary, according to a policy left by his father.

He was asked to submit all the relevant documents. He never got any response.

Victor has even travelled to Queenstown, but he didn’t get any positive feedback.

He came to the SunDefender for help.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to Carmen Williams at Old Mutual.

SOLUTION

Williams said a letter was posted to Victor, which confirmed the amount to be paid out.

I spoke to Victor and he confirmed that Old Mutual had paid him R12 911.

And it’s all thanks to the SunDefender.
