THE FACTS
TEFO Tshabalala from Bothaville in the Free State claims he worked for Discovery Drilling company for eight years without an increase.
He said they work from 6am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, and even on Saturdays. He claimed they had no contract of employment, medical aid or provident funds.
He said when they complained to management, they were told to leave if they were not happy. He decided to resign.

SOLUTION
Tefo was supposed to raise his disputes while he was employed. The Department of Labour can only send a labour inspector to the premises to investigate the allegations and issue a Compliance Order if those who are still employed at the company want to report it.
