SHIRAMI TAKES THE FALL!

accreditation

THE FACTS

SHIRAMI Mashaba from Kagiso, Mogale City, said he received a warrant attaching his house for a debt that is not his and was taken out in 2007.

WHAT I DID

I wrote to the attorneys that had issued the warrant to find out on what grounds the house was being
attached.

SOLUTION

The attorneys sent an Agreement that showed that Shirami had stood as surety for the purchase of a motor vehicle in 2007, and that the owner of the debt had not been making payment.

This means Shirami assured the bank that, should they not recover the debt, then they could claim it from him, which is what they’re doing.
