SHE CAN'T BE FORCED TO RETIRE!

THE FACTS

A READER approached the SunDefender complaining that she had been asked to take early retirement by her employer. However, she was not paid out for the years she worked and the owner of the company had refused to sign documents for her to claim from UIF.

WHAT I DID

I contacted Scorpion Legal Protection.

SOLUTION

The reader hasn’t reached retirement age so the company either has to negotiate her retirement or retrench her.

They can’t force her to retire.

The UIF issue can only be sorted out once the reader has been dismissed from work.
