THE FACTS

Robert Moloantoa was employed at a company as a truck driver for 16 years.

His employment was terminated due to ill health after he was very ill over a period of three years.

He was contributing to a provident fund.

AZIKHIPHI – THAT’S NOT ON!

Mr Moloantoa wants to claim his provident fund but his former employer is refusing to assist with claim forms.

STRIKE BACK LEGALLY

Scorpion Legal Protection called the employer but he refused to discuss anything with us over the phone. He provided us with cellphone number for his labour consultant instead.

We called the labour consultant, who advised us that he was having a meeting with the director at of the company the following day.

He asked that we send an email so that he can put this issue on the agenda.

We prepared and sent the email to employer’s labour consultant.

Scorpion Legal Protection will be following up this week to find out the outcome of the meeting.
