THELMA Tabane from Randfontein, Gauteng paid R1 800 for a cellphone she bought at Game in Key West Mall.
The screen stopped working properly so she went back to the store. However, she was told they wouldn’t be able to assist her because she didn’t have proof of purchase.
She asked them to check her Game card because she had used it to buy the phone.

I spoke to Game to see how they could help the customer.
SOLUTION
Tinabo Majaye-Khupe, a public relations practitioner for Game, advised the Key West sales manager, who contacted Thelma.
She took the phone to the store on Sunday and was given a full refund.
