PETRUS GOT HIS MONEY

accreditation

THE FACTS

WHEN Petrus Mosikidi from Snake Park, Soweto was retrenched, he applied for his provident funds and was paid without any problems. But when he applied for his surplus funds, he was sent from one department to another. He decided to speak to the SunDefender.

WHAT I DID

I asked Cynthia Mathipa from the Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators to investigate what was holding up Petrus’ application.

SOLUTION

Cynthia said they struggled to get hold of him because he’d changed his contact details. They require his bank details and he has to visit the administrators’ branch for a face to face verification. An excited Petrus said he’d
received R103 000.
