ENOCH STUCK WITHOUT CARD

accreditation

THE FACTS

ENOCH Meyiwa from Protea North, Soweto contacted the SunDefender to help him find his lost pension money. He told us he is a pensioner and he has been receiving his pension without any problem. But on 1 August this year, when he wanted to withdraw his pension, his card got stuck in an ATM machine before he got his money. He called Sassa and was advised to draft an affidavit and submit it to Sassa offices.

Now he is still waiting for feedback from Sassa to find out what happened to his grant money.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to Sassa for advice on the progress of his complaint and to find out what happened to his pension.

SOLUTION

Sassa advised that after thorough investigation it was discovered that Enoch had taken out a green card with Net1 and the money was paid into that card by Sassa. Sassa however cannot provide any details with regards to the green card and activities connected to it as it is a product of Net1. The Sassa statement also indicated that Enoch was using the green card long before August.
