CLODON WANTS HIS CAR BACK!

THE FACTS

CLODON Dube from Orange Farm, Joburg, was arrested in 2009 on suspicion of robbery and the police confiscated his car. He was
acquitted by the court, but when he went to get his car back he was told it couldn’t be returned to him.

WHAT I DID

I contacted Scorpion Legal Protection.

SOLUTION

Clodon can file a civil claim against the State. However, his chances of winning are slim as the State can claim the cops’ actions were prescribed. Alternatively, he can report the matter to Ipid to investigate why the police are refusing to release his car.
