BHEKI WAS NOT REGISTERED WITH UIF!

accreditation

THE FACTS

BHEKI Khoza from Katlehong, Ekurhuleni worked for Crete Steel as a machine operator from 2004 until he was dismissed in 2015.

He claimed for his provident fund and UIF, but he has not received payment from the UIF.

Bheki has run out of options, so he decided to come to SunDefender, asking for help to follow up on his UIF application.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to officials from the Department of Labour and the Metal Industries Fund Administrators.

SOLUTION

It was found that Bheki was not registered with the department, so could not be paid his UIF.

He has however, been paid R20 600 from his provident fund.
